I saw it. It's awesome. It suffered from some corny one-liners and a misplaced Star Wars homage. But, all-in-all, this is a cool movie. The soundtrack is amazing. It is truly a visual treat. I'm so glad the box office is strong, maybe we'll get more.

Jake Gyllenhaal causes Anne Hathaway to have wardrobe malfunctions!
Anne Hathaway
OMG..
"I have come to realize that if you put me in a room with Jake Gyllenhaal, my bbrra has a natural eject button."
Anne Hathaway jokes that her bbrra comes undone just by being in the same film scene as Jake Gyllenhaal, and she's got the evidence to prove it—her top came off in 2005 in Brokeback Mountain and she's bbrraless and then some in Love and Other Drugs, out next month.
Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal talked about their sxy scenes at a question and answer session for their latest film last night in New York. In the video posted by a fan on YouTube, Jake explains that having been in their birthday suits before made things easier the second time around.
"On a serious note I think we inherently as a result of having been nakd we were comfortable with each other and it led into this."
OMG

It seems Khan will not be appearing in the sequel to Abrams' Star Trek. All I can say is that I'm pleased. I don't want Khan rebooted. Check out the article here. Oh, and give me a break that Star Trek is equal to The Wrath of Khan.

It'll be "The Dark Knight Rises" and the Riddler is not the villian. Some people are complaining of course. But all I have to say is that Nolan is a genius and it will be good. Check it out here.

Really? I'd have thought everyone involved with the first one would have been banished from Hollywood. But what do I know? Let's just pray it's better or even just halfway decent. Here's a bit of info.

I ran across this nice little tidbit. It's a short interview with director Danny Boyle at Hollywood.com.

Mr. Spielberg has decided to take on the end of the world against a robot hoard. And I'm for it! Anything that gets him back to science fiction is cool to me. Here's a bit from the article:
"Robopocalypse embodies an imaginative story of a robot rebellion unleashed against the human race," said Mark Sourian, who's announcing the project with his co-prexy Holly Bario. "This is a project we immediately sparked to and with Steven directing it we knew it was in the best possible hands to bring it to worldwide audiences."

Yeah, so this moive is my favorite. Yes, I like it more than any other movie ever made. Why? Because it's awesome! It is a finely crafted film that is also exciting and tremendous fun. Here's James Horner talking about the score which happens to be some of the best music for a movie ever.

This film blows me away. Everytime I watch Aliens it seems as fresh and new as the first time I watched it. Here's Cameron and Horner talking about it a bit.

I love ERB's Mars Series. Now, it's getting a comic treatment. The art looks nice and the interview with the comic writer is cool. Read the interview here.

For 14 exciting weeks when I was in Junior High those words in the post title started off one of the most unique TV shows ever: Max Headroom. Most people remember the Coke ad campaign featuring the computer video jockey, but the TV series is where real stuff was going down.
Cyberpunk before cyberpunk was cool, this show and it's technological commentary shattered the mold. Ground-breaking and even visionary, this show predicted much of our world looks like now. Twenty-four hour news? Check. The Internet? Check. Constant adverting? Check. Video pirates? Check. Five hundred TV channels competing for ratings? Check. And much, much more.
Visionary? Ground-breaking? Unique? Strange? So of course it was canceled after only 14 episodes. TV networks still haven't changed. If a show is ahead of it's time it has to go. You have to make room for that new cop show, right?
Finally though, Max Headroom is officially on DVD. If you've never seen it check it out now. Here's Max on You Tube.
