Our Brit brethren probably know Mr. Kazinsky from a hole in the ground, unlike me who only became aware of him this morning when I saw he'd been cast in Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim (as has Willem Dafoe!) fighting giant monsters and robots opposite Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba - Kazinsky is straight outta Brighton and was on EastEnders for awhile. Recently he got cast in The Hobbit as one of the thirteen hundred dwarfs, but had to back out for ominous sounding "medical reasons." Hopefully he's alright - must be, since he's signed on for Pacific Rim now. The first thing I stumbled upon when looking him up was this:

Obviously it snowballed from there. Pacific Rim is just gonna be bursting with eye candy! Hit the jump to see a dozen or so more pictures of Rob and his sexy little furry ginger self.

he Day.
That's Jed Brophy as Nori, Adam Brown as Ori
and Mark Hadlow as Dori, via Coming Soon. Says them:
"These three brothers, all sons of the same mother, could not be more different from each other. Dori, the oldest, spends much of his time watching out for Ori, the youngest; making sure he's not caught a chill or got himself killed by Wargs or Goblins. Nobody quite knows what Nori gets up to most of the time, except that it's guaranteed to be dodgy and quite probably, illegal. Dori, Nori and Ori are intensely loyal to each other – and whilst they are perfectly happy fighting amongst themselves, woe-betide any anyone who means harm to one of these brothers."
This raises the obvious follow-up question:
Which would you do, which'd you dump, and which'd you marry?

--- And speaking of Office-flavored things, as well as small-sized folk, the teaser trailer for Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's new BBC2 series called Life's Too Short - about the "life" of Warwick Davis, famed little person - can be seen over at Twitch! The show's only begun filming and won't air til next year, but this tide us over til then I suppose.

--- Crazy States - Glenn's review of Ken Russell's Altered States over at Stale Popcorn is quite possibly the most spot-on, "Yup, that about sums it all up!" review of Altered States ever written. God I love that movie.
--- Bush Whackers - BD has a few more details on the third flick from Oren Peli, director of Paranormal Activity, which is about Nature getting its revenge in the wake of a radioactive disaster. Or something. Sounds kind Long Weekend
-y to me?
--- The Owls Are Not What They Seem - If you heard about that JK Rowling website Pottermore the other day and are curious still what the hell it is, watch this video at PopWrap where Rowling comes clean. Sounds fun, says the nerd!

--- Stone's Pride - Rumors abound that Emma Stone might be taking the lead in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which for a long while was a role that lay in Natalie Portman's delicate fingertips. I like it, but then I like the idea of Emma Stone taking any part. Every part! (Well except Mrs. Andrew Garfield. Lay off, lady! He's mine!)

--- Snow Falling - A single bit of promo art's made its way online, plus a couple of desciptions of others, for Tarsem's next project, his Snow White movie with Julia Roberts as the Witch and Armie Hammer as the prince.
--- Queen Carla - MNPP loves Carla Gugino so we love this week's Take Three in appreciation of three of her performances over at The Film Experience.

--- Goodbye Hellboy - According to Mike Mignola, Hellboy's creator, things ain't looking good for the time being for a third Hellboy movie from Guillermo Del Toro.
--- Join The PTA - A couple new young actors have joined the cast of Paul Thomas Anderson's next film, which has officially been titled The Master, a title that was up in the air for a bit there.

--- Fresh Meats - When I went to Austin last year it was either go and visit the graveyard where the opening scene of the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre film was shot, or go an hour outside of the city to visit the house where the film was shot which's been moved from its original location and turned into a restaurant. I chose the former - see my pics here! - but now there's a look at the latter going around that's worth checking out for sure.

--- Noe Way - Can you believe I still haven't watched Enter the Void
yet? Every time I've glanced at the DVD I see that it's 161 minutes long and I just haven't been in the state of mind for it. Shame on me. Looks like Noe might be turning his sanity-challenged eye to Bret Easton Ellis' script called The Golden Suicides next, which would be a meeting of the pyschos for sure.

--- Peen Poll - I don't think you're gonna find another poll on the week's multimedia penises anywhere but at The Film Experience today. Which is a damned shame - they should be everywhere!

--- For contrast, young male horror director JT Petty - who I like just fine don't get me wrong; read my review of his film S&Man here - is having no trouble at all piling up project after project. He's just signed on to direct a J-Horror flick in Japan called Haunted Temple for producers behind the Ring and Ju-On films, while he's not even finished his other movie Hellbenders (more on that here) yet.
